The transition will take place in the downtown, waterfront park area.
The swim course will take place in Little Traverse Bay.
The bike course will go though the spectacular hills of Northern Michigan, using many roads that local athletes train on.
The run course will follow the shore line of the bay.

2009 Results:
- Element Events will host a half distance triathlon in Petoskey, Michigan.
- The race will feature a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run.
- Athletes will also have the option race in a quarter man distances as well (.6 mile swim, 28 mile bike, and 6.2 mile run).
- Relay teams for both races will be welcome.
