The 5th Annual Spear the Fatty Fat Bike Race presented by Attitude Sports and Open Road Harley Davidson is scheduled for SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 2019, 2:30 p.m. at the LAKESIDE PARK PAVILION in FOND DU LAC, WI. Pre-registered and on-day registration 1:30-2:30 p.m at Lakeside Park Pavilion. The start and finish line will at the Lakeside Park Pavilion also. Participants can enjoy many of the additional activities taking place as part of the Sturgeon Spectacular, February 5th through February 10th. For more details on this and more, visit www.FDL.com/SS.
The Course will be extremely well marked with 3 ,7 and 15 mile distances and is well laid out. Participants will enjoy an exciting course and be able to navigate trails in the park, a Wood-covered Bridge, Pine Tree Cove, marshes, easy going hills, woods, frozen creeks and lake. It is an out and back huge one loop course using both east and west areas of Lakeside Park.
The 15 Mile course awards include the Elite, Open Citizen, Mountain Bike and Junior Division, and 1st through 3rd place for females and males. The 3 and 7 mile course is non-competitive.
