Run: Distance: 5 Miles: You begin by a mile long descent to the Historic Erie Canal trail. Catch the trail and enjoy a fast, flat run to the Kayak put-in 5 miles down trail.
Kayak: Distance: 4 Miles: Drag your kayak to the river front and paddle the scenic Tuscarawas River for 4 miles to the take out back at Camp Tuscazoar. If you are lucky, a slight river current will flow in your favor.
Mountain Bike: Distance: 7 Miles: Explore one the newest trail systems in Ohio. Don't let the flat first legs of this race deceive you - make sure you save enough fuel for the 7 mile mountain bike loop that will bring 1200 feet of elevation gain. The MB course consists of single track trail looping throughout the park with lots of steep climbs and fast descents.
If you have enough gas left in the tank - there is an optional Adventure Race portion of the race available. In this portion - you will be timed as you navigate the hills to find 13 checkpoints using only a map and compass.
