Deer Creek State Park stands as one of central Ohio's most beautiful outdoor vacation spots. The park features a terrain of woodlands and grassy meadows, surrounding a scenic reservoir and beach area. Deer Creek Resort and Conference Center features a modern lodge, cottages, campground, golf course, swimming beach and boating for outdoor enthusiasts. Deer Creek has also served as one of Ohio's top triathlon venues for the past several years and has gained the reputation for being one of the faster courses available to regional athletes. Triathletes will be treated to a fresh water swim in the mildly warm (70 degrees) Deer Creek Lake, followed by a mostly flat bike course on scenic and safe roads, finishing with a picturesque run along the beach.
