AquaRun starts at 10:30 AM with one wave. Start in the water at Les Davis Marine Park, swim east on north side of centerline buoys (buoys on right), parallel to shore to Harbor Lights Restaurant, turn clockwise around at stacked tire 'turn-around buoy' and swim back (buoys still on right). Marker buoys approx at 1/4 mile intervals. Stay between buoys and line of rescue craft/shore that mark the outside limit of swim course. Exit swim, immediate left to transition area. Exit transition to south, cross road with police direction to the hill side lane of the 2 lane Ruston Way. Water side lane of Ruston Way is open to one-way traffic so DO NOT cross the center line without police direction. Start run to east/left, runners stay to their right in the hill side of Ruston Way, parallel to shore. 180 degree turn around (near Jack Hyde Beach Park) at end of overpass and return to finish (still running on runner's right side) of hill side of Ruston Way. Water stations on run at half-way out (3/4 mile), at turn around (1.55 miles) and half way back (2.25 miles). Open Water Swim Only starts at 10:35 AM at near height of ebb tide with two waves: FIRST- all USMS swimmers, SECOND- all USAT insured swimmers. Same start location as AquaRun at Les Davis Marine Park. Swim East on north side of centerline buoys (buoys on right), parallel to shore to stacked tire 'turn-around buoy' for 2K at Harbor Lights Resaturant OR stacked tire 'turn-around buoy' at Jack Hyde Beach Park for 4K. Swim clockwise around buoy and swim back (buoys still on right). Marker buoys approx at 1/4 mile intervals. Stay between buoys and line of rescue craft/shore that mark the outside limit of swim course. Exit swim and dash across finish pad for chip time. 5K run starts at 10:40 AM on same course as run portion of AquaRun. Post race celebration with live music at Les Davis Marine Park. Top three awards for M/F age-groups and relay divisions of AquaRun, Top three awards for M/F age-groups for Swim and Run only as well.

Southbound: I-5 S from Seattle to I-705 N exit and merge onto I-705 N.

Northbound: I-5 N from Olympia, take right lane WA-7 South/I-705 N exit toward Pacific Ave/City Center. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for City Center and merge onto I-705 N.  Continuing on from both directions: Just past downtown, exit to left onto Schuster Pkwy. Schuster Parkway becomes Ruston Way after overpass. Proceed to Les Davis Marine Park and turn left (south) on Dale Street to N Waterview Street.  Park on N Waterview to left and right.  Please do not park in restaurant lots after 1 PM.

It is a non-profit organization focused on raising awareness and finding permanent homes for children in the foster care system needing a family, a home and a future. We work with child welfare agencies, businesses, schools and churches to bring the community closer to the reality that there are thousands of children who need our help finding a family they can call their own.
