_ The 2018 Bass Lake Triathlon:
Join us for the first Bass Lake Triathlon along the shores of Bass Lake and the Fred Meijer Heartland Trail. This event is considered a sprint triathlon with a 750 meter swim, a 20K bike, and a 5K run. Part of the registration fees will also benefit Sarah Stehouwer, a lifetime Bass Lake resident, who is working with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) since January, 2018. She is teaching English and helping the poor on the island of Sumba. Sarah has decided to give her 20's completely to God's work. As a missionary, she is not able to work in the country she is serving, therefore 100% of her support comes from individuals and organizations that are willing to become financial partners with her.
Registration is limited to the first 50 competitors. If this cap has not been reached by the close of registration we will allow race day registration but shirts will not be available. There won't be a packet pick up, instead check-in will be available the day of the event from 7:45am to 8:15am.
