_ The 2019 Lavaman Waikoloa Triathlon:

Celebrate the spirit of the Lavaman Triathlon! The 22nd Annual Waikoloa Lavaman Triathlon will be held Sunday, March 31, 2019 at Waikoloa Beach Resort on the beautiful Kohala Coast of the Island of Hawai'i. Register early so as not to be left out of "The Best Party in Triathlon."

DISTANCES & RACE DESCRIPTION: Olympic Distance (1.5K Swim, 40K Bike and 10K Run) Swim at Anaehoomalu Bay at the Waikoloa Beach Resort. The Bike ride is out and back on the Queen Ka`ahumanu Hwy. then back into the resort. T1 & T2 are in the same location. The run is through the Waikoloa Beach Resort & the grounds of the Hilton Waikoloa Village and has varied terrain consisting of lava, sand, coral trail, road, lawn, & flagstone path with a beach finish. Trail shoes are recommended over racing flats.

AMENITIES: Voted: "Best Awards Party in Triathlon" ~ Beer Garden, Live Music, Beach BBQ under the coconut grove at beautiful Anaeho'omalu Bay. Shirts & medals for all finishers. Sponsor bags with swim cap, race number, coupons & samples. Athlete Entry includes 1 Awards Banquet Ticket. Additional available for $47.50. RELAY TEAMS: EACH MEMBER OF THE RELAY TEAM MUST REGISTER SEPARATELY ON ACTIVE.COM. Relays may be two or three member teams (see fees above). Need help in putting together a team? Contact us through www.lavamantriathlon.com.

LATE REGISTRATION - Charity Slots: Once sold out, any new registrations (replacing cancellations) will require an additional Charity Donation to help raise funds for some of the many Non-Profit Organizations who volunteer for the Lavaman Triathlon. You can help support those who support you on Race Day. Details will be announced on www.lavamantriathlon.com once the race is sold out.

PLEASE NOTE REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY

May 15, 2018 to December 31, 2018:

50% Refund of Registration Fee to athlete  &  25% of registration fee will be donated to the Lavaman Charity Fund and distributed to non-profits supported by Lavaman. 

January 1, 2019 to March 15, 2019: 

ALL CATEGORIES:  No refund, but if you notify Lavaman that you will not be racing, 75% of your entry fee will be donated to either LavaKids or one of the Lavaman supported non-profits and you will qualify for “Early Bird” Registration for the following year’s race. 

After March 15, 2019 

NO CONSIDERATIONS

ALL SLOTS ARE NON TRANSFERABLE AND THERE ARE NO ROLLOVERS. YOU MAY HAVE THE OPTION TO SWITCH TO A RELAY TEAM WITH A CHANGE FEE OF $25.00, PLUS ADDITIONAL REGISTRATION FEES, IF ANY, UNTIL ALL 150 RELAY TEAM SLOTS ARE FILLED.
