_ The 2018 Valley Girl Triathlon:

We've made some changes for 2018, thanks to your input. Thank you to all of you who completed our survey, your comments and thoughts were invaluable. The survey feedback clearly indicated the majority of you were not as concerned about the location of the event, only that we continue to provide a women's triathlon in the area. Don't worry...we won't let you down! This will now be the only women's triathlon in our area, now offering a sprint distance triathlon, olympic distance triathlon and a duathlon...a little something for everyone!

Indeed, it is truly with much sadness that we say goodbye to Liberty Lake after 14 years. The City of Liberty Lake and its' residents have embraced the Valley Girl triathlon and we are forever grateful for the many, wonderful people that we now call friends. However, growth is inevitable and our options are very limited as Liberty Lake continues to grow. Changes are never easy, but your safety is first and foremost to us.

The Valley Girl Triathlon/Duathlon at Medical Lake, WA, will offer additional venue and course opportunities. With the start and finish in the same location, this will provide a more spectator friendly location for children, family members and friends. We will continue to provide you with our excellent support, sponsors, and service as well as the warm, inviting atmosphere that you have come to expect from our events. 

We hope that you will continue to support the sport of women's triathlon and we are excited for this new chapter of the Valley Girl Triathlon and Duathlon at Medical Lake. We are proud to offer a community event for your continued healthy, lifestyle and we are grateful we can bring together strong, empowered women for a day of personal competition, camaraderie and fun. 

We are excited for 2018 and what we've got in store for you! We look forward to seeing you on July 15th in Medical Lake.
