_ The 2018 Dream Believe Achieve Triathlons:

This event takes place at the Sandy Pines Resort, a vacation resort located minutes from Downtown Grand Rapids, and it is the ultimate dream venue for a triathlon. We look forward to bringing that dream alive for not only this vacation resort but for thousands of athletes in the years to come.

You dream it, you believe it and we will help you achieve it in this beautiful resort destination. DBA is going into its 3rd year. It starts with a totally flat swim in a lake surrounded by pines that do their best to block the wind, making the water smooth and flat. The bike course is on mostly newly paved roads and has a little bit of everything.  Lightly traveled country roads, mostly flat with a few rolling short hills.

One and two loops for your sprint and slightly longer Olympic distance bike courses, but they are very nice courses to say the least. The run course will keep you inside the resort to allow for hundreds of residents to cheer you on as you wind your way in and around the resort homes. The run course is flat, fast and shaded.

Course Information:

This is a nice clear lake swim which is usually flat, considering the way the lake is situated in the pines. This is an out and back swim course, more than likely a beach start, depending on the water temps.

The bike course has a little bit of everything. Fast flat sections, gradual grinders that we all love and a few short comfortable climbs as well. Lightly traveled country roads, newly paved, and a 2 loop course for the Olympic Distance athletes, slightly longer for both events, means this is a great event for those who love the bike discipline.

The run course is flat and fast, mostly shaded, and is viewed by hundreds of resort residents who turn out to cheer you on as you fly by, winding through the resort.
