The race will start with the swim. Short course participants will complete one loop of the swim, and long course participants will complete two loops. The short course participants will complete two loops of the course shown below, which will stay within Luther Burbank Park. Long course participants will complete 4 loops within the park. The long course race start will begin at 6:30 pm, with the short course following at 6:40. The swim cut off for ALL athletes will be at 7:40 pm; the run cut off will be at 8:10 pm.
Please note: This race is part of the Pacific Aquathon Series, and this course will occur twice: on August 3 and August 31. Please consider joining us for both events!
Course Information:
There are two distances at the Islander Aquathon, the short course and the long course. The distances are as follows.
Short course: 500 meter swim, 5k run
Long course: 1000 meter swim, 10k run
