The Marshall Mad Dash and Bike Event benefits the Marshall Scholarship Foundation. Our mission is to provide scholarships to graduates of Marshall High School. The fun run starts from Fireman's Park in the heart of Marshall, the race route winds through the Eastern residential neighborhoods and returns right back to Fireman's Park. The bike ride also takes off from and finishes at Fireman's Park. Bikers will travel the scenic farmland between Marshall and Waterloo before returning to the Park. After the event, stay for the Lion's Riverfest!
Kids' Fun Run starts at 8:30 - the goes around Fireman's Park.
The Adult 5K run/walk and the Bike event will both take off at 9:00 (participants can choose either event).
Bike route is on the country roads (Missouri Rd, Boxelder Rd, Cherry Lane, etc...). It is recommended that bikers be 12 or older. Youth must be accompanied by a parent. HELMETS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL RIDERS.
Early packet pickup time will be Friday (8/11) afternoon/early evening -location TBD, keep up-to-date on our Facebook page (Marshall Scholarship Foundation Dollars for Scholars). Packets are also available for pickup at 8:00 am at Fireman's park the day of the race.
