_ The 2018 Heroes' Challenge-4th of July:
The Heroes' Challenge is held on the 4th of July in the morning (registration opens at 7am and Awards Ceremony is at 10:45am).
100% of pledges raised goes directly to supporting local military members (current and past) when assistance is needed.
$25.00 pre-registration and choose from a 30-mile Road Bike Race (start 8:30am); 10K Run (start 9:00am); 5K Fun Walk/Run (start 9:15); and a FREE Children's Duathlon (Bike then Run 0.2 mile-loop) starts at 10:30am. There is also an option to join the "Virtual Team" for those that wish to support local Heroes' but cheer from the sidelines.
Official BackaHero.Today dog-tag for all finishers, plus trophy for first place in each event, and 1-2-3 place medals for first three men/women in each event.
At10:00am the "Return-to-Base Brunch" opens for all Challengers, as well as a complimentary Beer Garden for all Challengers 21 and older.
