The Turf to Surf 50K Triathlon is set among the beautiful Kitsap Peninsula of the Pacific Northwest. From the forest shaded trails, to the rolling hills, to the shining waterways you will find this to be one of the most beautiful courses available! From the rolling 7.2 miles of the trail running course, to the water rimmed 19.3 mile bike course and the final 4.8 mile paddle to the finish! Taking place during in conjunction with the Kitsap Peninsula Water Trails Festival, there is lots for everyone to enjoy!

Packet Pick-up Dates and times:
Wednesday, June 21, 2017 10am to 4pm
Thursday, June 22, 2017 10am to 4pm
Friday, June 23, 2017 – 10am to 4pm
Saturday, June 24, 2017 - 7am to 8:30am*
*There will be race-day packet pickup: Please come before 8:30am race day to secure your spot and register at the Port Gamble starting location!
Start Areas and Registration locations:
Registration and Start of the race (Trail run): Southern Utility Parking Area (look for the banners), Port Gamble, WA 98370. There will be parking available at this location.
Cycle start: 22315 Stottlemeyer Rd NE, Poulsbo, WA 98370.
Paddle Start: 607 14th St, Bremerton, WA 98337.
Start Times: The Turf to Surf 50K triathlon will start promptly at 9am.
Cutoff Times: The race starts at 9:00 am; the mandatory trail run finishing cut off time is 11:30am (or 2.5 hours), the mandatory cycle finishing cut off time is 2:30pm (or 5.5 hours) and the mandatory paddle cutoff time is 5pm (or 8 hours). There will be NO exceptions.
Finish Area: The finish area is collocated with the main festival, at the Silverdale Waterfront Park, located in Old Town Silverdale. For more information about the festival go to: http://www.watertrailsfestival.com/

Timing: The entire course will be timed.
Swag and prizes:Every participant will have a swag bag with t-shirt and other goodies. Prizes will be presented for overall first, second and third place finishers. The awards ceremony will take place at the main stage at 5:30pm.
Course Amenities:
There will be plenty of aid stations on course stocked with water, sports drink and snacks.
FAQ:
How many racers make up a team?
A: One to three.
Can I do the race solo?
A: Yes!
What happens if a racer discovers that they cannot race a day or two before race day?
A: The Team Captain is responsible for obtaining a replacement racer.
What I do not have a bike or kayak to use?
A: There are numerous excellent rental companies in the greater Kitsap County area to rent from and the Silverdale Chamber of Commerce can recommend one for your needs.
