- In its 9th year the DamTri features an Olympic and sprint triathlon along with an Olypmic distance Aquabike. Also on Saturday June 24th there is a kids race for children 15 and under.
The Olympic race features an elite wave with $1,200 in prize money.
The course is a 1-loop swim for both distances. Sprint riders will complete one loop around the lake while Olympic riders will face a 1-loop course that takes them on scenic but challenging roads. The run is through the state park on paved park roads and crushed gravel trails. The Olympic run takes runners across and back a 1-mile paved dam that overlooks the lake.
The course is a challenging course with approximately 1,500 feet of elevation gain on the Olymjpic bike with several prominent hills.
