In its 10th year, the DamTri Sprint and Olympic races have become the premier triathlon in Western PA. Both races feature 1-loop swims in a calm lake, rolling to hilly bike courses on rural roads and runs through a state park including park roads and crushed gravel trails through wooded areas.
The Olympic race also features an out and back on a 1 mile paved dam overlooking the lake and also has an elite wave with $1,200 in prize money.
1 loop swims in a lake, water temperature has traditionally been wet suit legal.
Sprint bike is 1 loop around the lake. Olympic bike is 1 large loop through country roads, both courses feature challenging hills to rolling terrain. This is not a flat course!
The run is through state park grounds.
Woodcock creek lake beach area is located just a few miles from Meadville PA.
