This is a family friendly event for all levels. Children will run and bike on closed roads and paved trails. Training wheeels are allowed. All children will be able to touch in the water in the event they need to stop. Lifejackets are allowed. We will have brunch following the event. All children will receive a race medal at the finish line. Trophies will be presented to the top two male and female finishers in each age group. Children and teens can discover what it is like to have fuin competing in a triathlon event. Youth skill level will range from the first time particpant to athletes that have completed in 20 + races.
Event will be RFID timed by Time to TRI with 5 splits. Results will be posted online at www.timetotri.us
Directions:
Camp Harkness is located at 301 Great Neck Road (Route 213) in Waterford CT 06385 in New London County. Camp Harkness is easily reached from Interstate 95 or Interstate 395.
