2010 Trioba Sprint Adventure Race:

  • We are excited to offer you a sprint race in an area that has some of the best trails and waterways in the coastal lowlands of Washington State.
  • This will be a classic adventure race with all checkpoints obtained in sequential order. 
  • Course Information:

  • The course will consist of 20-30 miles of mountain biking, 10-15 miles of trekking, and 5-15 miles of flat water and Class I moving water.
  • The course will be completely navigation based, and teams should be proficient with using a map and compass in order to finish the course.
  • This area is an adventure racer's paradise, and you will not want to miss it!
  • Directions:

    From Seattle
    Head south on I-5 to Exit 88 Hwy 12.  Turn right and head west on Hwy 12 for approximately 11 miles to the town of Oakville.  Continue through the town.  On the west side of town you will see the high school on your left.  The gravel entry to the rodeo grounds is just after the high school.  Traffic can be very bad on Friday afternoons from Tacoma through Olympia.

    From Portland
     Head north on I-5 to Exit 88 Hwy 12.  Turn right and head west on Hwy 12 for approximately 11 miles to the town of Oakville.  Continue through the town.  On the west side of town you will see the high school on your left.  The gravel entry to the rodeo grounds is just after the high school.

    Checkpoint Tracker Series:
    Trioba Adventure Races are a part of the Checkpoint Tracker Series.  This is a nationwide series of over 75 races which will culminate in a national championship.  All teams will be required to register through the Checkpoint tracker site.  You will need to create your team and squad for our race.  It is substantially the same as registering directly with us however you will only need to register once and you will be registered with us for any race that you choose and ranked at the end of each race.  In addition, this will allow us to use the online leaderboard, and many other powerful online features.  It will also allow you to be part of the series and be eligible to compete and be ranked against over 250 other teams from around the country.
