The Giant Eagle Triathlon offers participants a unique point-to-point Olympic and Sprint distance triathlons (with duathlon options, as well) starting from Alum Creek State Park and finishing in the Arena District in downtown Columbus. Triathlon participants will be treated to a swim course in the calm waters of Alum Creek Lake while duathletes run an opening 3K-run within the park. From there, participants will cycle on the flat and fast bike course the rolls through southern Delaware County, Worthington, the Columbus neighborhood of Clintonville, The Ohio State University campus and finally the Arena District in downtown Columbus, where transition No. 2 is located. The Giant Eagle Triathlon is capped off by a run through downtown Columbus that finishes at McPherson Park in the heart of the Arena District.
