2010 Finish Strong Triathlon:
Join us at beautiful, family friendly Lake Tye Park in Monroe, WA.
This is the inaugural event for the Finish Strong Sprint Triathlon.
The sprint race starts at 7 AM. This race is geared for both the beginner to the experienced triathlete.
This race gives the beginner a chance to test their ability to Finish Strong in a friendly, hometown environment.
Being a USA Triathlon sanctioned event, the race gives the competing athletes a chance to earn points toward national rankings.
Course Information:
Flat and fast Race course through the pleasant Snohomish valley.
Start from the beach with a 400 meter rectangular swim.
The out and back bike course is flat and fast taking you through the pleasant Snohomish valley.
The flat run course takes you around the lake and finishes with a out and back.
This course is very spectator friendly. All you have to do is Finish Strong!
Ages: 6-15 years old
Youth Triathlon Race Distances: Ages 6 - 8: 50 yard swim, 1.5 mile bike, 12 mile run
Ages 9 10: 50 yard swim, 1.5 mile bike, 1 mile run
Ages 1112: 100 yard swim, 3 mile bike, 1 mile run
Ages 13 -15: 100 yard swim, 3 mile bike, 1 mile run

From 405/ take 522 East:
Take the exit toward Monroe/W Main Street.
Enter the round about and take the 3rd exit onto 164th St. SE./W Main St.
Turn right onto Fryelands Blvd.
Continue N on Fryelands Blvd. approx. 1 mile to the park entrance on the left.
From the North/ Hwy. 2: From I-5 South, head east on hewitt Ave/ Hwy 2.
Merge onto Hwy 2 via the ramp toward Snohomish.
Turn right on Fryelands Blvd.
Travel 1 mile south and park is on the right.

- This is a USA Triathlon sanctioned event.
- USAT rules will be enforced, including wearing your helmet at ALL times.
- Standard age group categories.
- Prizes for top 3 finishes in each age category.
- Stick around for the raffled items after the awards ceremony.
