The Tri for Preservation presented by Noyes, Hall & Allen Insurance is a premier Maine triathlon. The Tri for Preservation features an ocean swim at beautiful Crescent Beach State Park in Cape Elizabeth Maine, only minutes from Portland, ME. The sprint triathlon, aquabike and triathlon relay features a 500 yard ocean swim (in a protected cove), a 14 mile bike past farmland and marshlands, and a 3 mile run. Duathlon features a 1.5 mile run, 14 mile bike and 3 mile run.
Register by April 30, 2013 and receive $10.00 off your registration.
50% refund with cancellation prior to July 18, 2013; no refunds after July 18, 2013.
The Tri for Preservation, presented by Noyes, Hall & Allen Insurance, benefits the Cape Elizabeth Land Trust's efforts to preserve natural woodlands, marshes, farmlands and shore lands for the enjoyment of this, and future generations.
The Tri for Preservation is proud to serve as the 2013 venue for the Maine Senior Games Triathlon.
The Tri for Preservation has established the 113 Fund in memory of David Aschauer. The 113 Fund will support a summer internship program in the Economic Department of Bates College.
Wave Start, Chip Timing. Registration includes breakfast, choice of Race Beach Towel or T-shirt (when registering before 08/01/13, Crescent Beach State Park entrance fee for the day, and sponsor gifts.
