The 2014 Tri for Preservation, presented by Noyes, Hall & Allen Insurance, benefits the Cape Elizabeth Land Trust's efforts to preserve natural woodlands, marshes, farmlands and shore lands for the enjoyment of this, and future generations.
The Tri for Preservation features an ocean swim at beautiful Crescent Beach State Park in Cape Elizabeth Maine, only minutes from Portland, ME. The sprint triathlon, aquabike and triathlon relay features a 500 yard ocean swim (in a protected cove), a 14.5 mile bike past farmland and marshlands, and a 3 mile run for the triathlon. The duathlon features a 1.1 mile run, a 14.5 mile bike and 3 mile run.
Post race events include Wild Blueberry Smoothies and a Wild Blueberry Pancake Breakfast for all participants, plus an awards celebration.
Your registration includes a one-day pass at Crescent Beach State Park and a Tri for Preservation T-shirt.
The Tri for Preservation is also proud to serve as the 2014 venue for the Maine Senior Games Triathlon.
