Corner of Vista Drive and The Strand! Views of the international waterway and Canada. Parking along The Strand. Please don't block the flow of traffic. Larger signage will be provided as you come onto the island.

The For a Day Foundation (FADF) is hosting their 4th Annual "Run with the Cops, not from Them!" charity fundraiser, on Historic Belle Isle. The FADF is a nationally registered 501(c)(3) charity that provides quality of life services to children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses in the metro-Detroit area. Last year, the FADF provided parties and special events for over 500 children! All proceeds will be used to help these patients feel like kids!
Medals!
5k: Overall Male & Overall Female; Masters Overall Male & Masters Overall Female (40 and over)....10k: Overall Male & Overall Female; Masters Overall Male & Masters Overall Female (40 and over)....5k & 10k: 3 medals deep, both genders in 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & Up!!!

1 Mile fun run/walk- 9:30am; 5k and 10k race-10:00am (timing chipped). Both 5k and 10k are USATF Certified and Governor's Council on Physical Fitness Endorsed. All participants will receive a t-shirt and water/snacks after the race.

2013 Race Info!
Last year, 650 registered participants raced during a beautiful race day and we hope you can join us this year. Scheduled to kick start the event will be Interim Detroit Police Chief Chester L. Logan, with special appearances from Detroit's Special Response Team, Bomb Squad, Dive Team, and Mounted Unit.
1 Mile fun run/walk- 9:30am; 5k and 10k race-10:00am (timing chipped). Both 5k and 10k are USATF Certified and Governor's Council on Physical Fitness Endorsed. All participants will receive a t-shirt and water/snacks after the race.
