A weekend of fun 3 non-competitive rides (30, 60 and 120 miles), 2 endurance races (200 and 400 miles), an expo and post-event party with awards, entertainment, food and drink. The 120-mile ride is a Gran Fondo.
Choose the appropriate length and difficulty. Both the 60 and 120-mile Gran Fondo rides leave Guajome Regional Park heading for Bonsall and the San Luis Rey River.Both follow West Lilac Road to Valley Center and on to Harrahs Rincon Casino.The 60-mile riders turn around at the Casino and return via Old Castle and Gopher Canyon Roads.The 120-mile Gran Fondo riders continue past the Casino and up Mt. Palomar, down to Lake Henshaw and on to Santa Ysabel.They head back via Mesa Grande and SH 76 to the Casino where they follow the same route as the returning 60-mile riders.Both rides are challenging the 60-mile route features nearly 5,000 feet of climbing and the 120-mile Gran Fondo features over 12,000 feet of climbing.
