On Sunday, September 27, 2009 at 7:30 AM, the Borough of Hightstown will host its annual Hightstown Sprint Triathlon. The sprint triathlon course will be comprised of a .25 mile swim, a 10 mile bike ride and a 3.1 mile run.
In addition, this year Hightstown will also be hosting its first annual kids triathlon. The Hightstown Kids Triathlon will take place a day before the adult race on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 3:30PM. The kids course will be comprised of a 100 yard swim, a 3 mile bike ride, and a 1 mile run.
Golds Gym of East Windsor is the main sponsor for the event, while The Brace Place is sponsoring for the swim portion of the race. The Bicycle Rack is the sponsor for the bike portion of the race and Premiere Physical Therapy will be sponsoring the run course. This year Tavern on the Lake has signed up to be provide a party atmosphere at the end of the race, as the finish line sponsor.

.25 mile swim - The swim, set in beautiful Peddie Lake with plenty of area for spectators, will begin at the Hightstown Library, and finish with a short run to transition

Directions from North, South, and East:
Go to exit 8 of the New Jersey Turnpike, after the toll booth stay to the left towards Hightstown (Rt 33 West). Follow Rt. 33 (Franklin St.) into town. Make a left at the Historic Hightstown Sign and Fire Department. See map below for parking.
Directions from West:
Take Route 1 to Princeton-Hightstown Road (Route 571) East cross over Route 130 (road changes to Stockton Street, stay on Stockton Street to end. See map below for parking.
