2009 Kids Tri RI:
A kids' triathlon with a focus exposing kids to the benefits of multisport in a safe, supportive environment and having a good ol' time!
The race directors are experienced triathletes who have recently run the NYC Triathlon.
The event itself benefits The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of RI, because blood cancers are the second most frequent cause of death (only accidents cause more deaths) among kids.
Course Information:
Distance By Age:
4 - 8: 25 yard swim (floatation OK); 1 mile bike; ¼ mile run.
9-12: 75 yard swim (floation OK); 3 mile bike; 1 mile run.
13-19: 200 yard swim; 6 mile bike; 2 mile run.
Bike Courses:
Mapmyride 3 mile course (9-12 bike course)
Mapmyride 1-mile course (4-8 bike course)
Run Courses:
Mapmyrun 1-mile run course (9-12 run)
Mapmyrun ..25 (quarter mile) course (4-8 run)
Directions:
The College offers the best directions to the campus.
