- Tri the Parks continues the season at scenic Richard B. Russell State Park in Elberton, Georgia.
- This event is is part of the original Tri the Parks Series and is in its 13th season. Features of this event include a swim in the same lake that hosted the Atlanta Olympic rowing team training, a great bike course for fast times and a run course next to the park's gorgeous golf course with a short section through the woods.
