Desert Dash Youth Triathlon 2009:
Held in the traditional triathlon format, athletes ranging in age from 6 14 will participate in swimming, biking and running.
The younger kids will participate in a short distance event, while the older kids will participate in longer distances.
The short triathlon will consist of a 200-yard swim, 2-mile bike and 1-mile run.
The longer distance be a 300-yard swim, 6-mile bike and a 2-mile run (ages from 10-14).
The race will be held at the Henderson Multigenerational Center, at 250 S. Green Valley Parkway, in Henderson and will begin at 7:30am.
Both the kids and their parents will have a greater understanding of how important exercise and a healthy lifestyle will play in their future.
Registration is limited to the first 125 athletes.

Course Information:
Kids Triathlon Short Course: (Ages 6 - 10)
Swim 200 yards, Bike 2 mile, Run 1 mile.
Kids Triathlon Long Course: (Ages 10-14) Swim 300 yards, Bike 6 miles, Run 2 miles.
