2009 Summer Sprint Adventure Race:

The Summer Sprint Adventure Race is a 4-6 hour race that is done in teams of 2 or 3 where not only your individual skills of the different disciplines will be tested but your ability to work as a team as well.

Course Information:

The disciplines involved in this race will be mountain biking (on paved and gravel roads), paddling on moving water, running, and orienteering.

Throughout the race you will be navigating your way with a map and compass. Plus a "special event" or two could be thrown in during the race.

You do not need to be advanced in any of the displines to compete in this race. The navigation will be straightforward and there will not be any technical mountain biking.

The order and distances for the different disciplines will shared at the start line or during the race. The course will be designed for the winners to come in around 4-5 hours and for most teams to be able to complete the entire course within the 8 hour time limit.
