Have you ever wondered if you have what it takes to complete a triathlon?
Join Coach Matt Guinta for this comprehensive introduction to the exciting world of triathlon. Under 7-time Ironman finisher Coach Matt, participants will train together two days/week in a progressive swimming, cycling, running and functional strength training program designed specifically for beginners. Matt will also create a supplemental training plan for all participants that will be supported on-line throughout the 10-week session. The course will teach proper technique in all three sports, intensity zones and pacing, transitions, equipment, nutrition and race strategy.
Whether you have a single-sport background or just want to try something new this summer, this course will give you the skills, fitness and confidence to ace your first sprint triathlon. A passionate endurance athlete, teacher and USAT certified coach with over 10 years of triathon experience, Matt has a series of local races targeted for his students over the summer months, the first of which is on August 2nd in Salem, MA.
