Description: This race takes place at beautiful Pipestem Dam and Lake Project.
  • Both the Solo and Relay classifications for the Triathlon begin at Parkhurst boat ramp. 
  • The total course length equates to about the length of a standard Olympic-length triathlon in time, but due to the fact it is a MTB ride and a trail run, the distances were shortened.
  • This race showcases the entire fantastic facility Jamestown, ND has in Pipestem and some great scenery!! 
  • Course Info:
  • The Swim takes you to the North Shore with the T1/T2 area on the lawn of the Pipestem office. 
  • The Mountain Bike portion is on Pipestem Trail Loop, the site of the annual Gear Grinder MTB race. 
  • The Trail Run is on North Ridge Trail back to Parkhurst for the finish. 

  • The 5 Mile Trail Run will begin at Parkhurst, follow the North Ridge Trail and finish at the T1/T2 area of the Triathlon. 
  • Directions:
  • From I-94:  Take Hwy 281 N through the town of Jamestown,
  • 5 miles north of town turn left at "Parkhurst" sign, continue 1 mile to another "Parkhurst" entrance sign and left again,
  • Follow paved road to picnic shelter/campground.
  • Other Info:
  • Proceeds from this event will benefit the Jamestown YMCA and North Dakota Episcopal Diocese dental and medical missions in Guatemala.
