New Hampton's 3rd Annual Triathlon is a great one for both beginners and the experienced! You'll start with a 3.1 mile run, transition into a 15 mile bike ride, and end with a 300 yard swim in our Municipal Swimming Pool! All participants registered before June 25th will recieve a free race shirt! Complimentary food and beverages will be available after the race.
Course Information:
The running portion is on hard surface town streets, the biking portion is also on town roads as well as a county highway, the swim portion is in our public swiming pool with lanes. Terrain is flat to slightly hilly.
Directions:
The race will begin at Mikkelson Park located at 1013 E. Spring St., New Hampton IA 50659. You will find this park on the East side of town off of highway 24.
