2009 Payson Sprint Triathlon Course Info
Taylor pool has 6 lanes. 2 swimmers per lane.
Lanes are split. Stay on your side.
Start times are approx. Heats will not begin until the last person from the previous heat before is out of the pool.
Bike Course: (15 miles) There are two significant hills.
Airport Hill is .45 mile long with an elevation drop of 165 feet.
The other is Vista Road with an elevation gain of 210 feet in .64 mile.
Run course: (5k) The 5k course is flat and runs through residential areas of Payson.
It starts at the bike transition and ends at the South end of Rumsey Park finish line.
Pool Swim: (500 yards)
Bike Course: (15 miles)
Run course: (5k)
Directions:
Rumsey Park:
From Phx... hwy 87 N to Payson.
Once in Payson, left on Forest to McLane.
Left on McLane to Rumsey Park.
