Triathlon : Swim 600 Yard, Bike 14 Miles, Run 3.1 Miles |
BIKE: 14 Miles
A one loop course that can be described as rolling with the exception of one decent climb. The roads are in good condition and are as scenic as any you will find. We will have officers and/or course marshalls at all turns (all right hand turns) to assist you. The minimum elevation of the course is 357 feet while the max elevation is 715 feet.
Directions: From Branbury State Park take a right on Rte 53, Right on Fernville Rd., Right on Fernlake Rd., Right on Rte 7, Right on Rte 53, Right back into Branbury State Park
RUN: 3.1 miles
A simple and very popular out and back course that will have you running on just one road (Rte 53). The course is very shady and scenic with lots of trees providing cover from the hot sun or inclement weather conditions. The road is lightly traveled but please stay as far to the left (facing traffic) as possible as we will have runners on both sides of the road. There will be one aid station on the run course (which means you'll have 2 opportunities to receive aid). This station will be loaded with water and HEED.
