The race start and transition will be at the west end of Edgewater Park. The race will begin with a .25 mile open water swim in Fountain Lake. Participants will then transition to a 14.0 mile bike through Albert Lea area country side, fairly flat with some rolling hills, mostly on newly paved roads. Racers will then transition for a 4.0 mile run along scenic Edgewater Park and Fountain Lake, fairly flat and fast course with minimal traffic. This race is limited to 300 entries. Further information about registration and deadlines will be coming shortly. The race will be timed by Final Timing using Champion Chip Timing Technology as part of the Tri Minnesota Series.
Course Information:
Important Note: There is a good chance the weather will be cold on the day of the event. The organizers highly recommend the use of a wetsuit.
