Race Info
The 4th Annual LG Tri in the beautiful Vail Valley mountain town of Eagle, Colorado will be held on Saturday, June 30th, 2012. Transition area opens at 6:00 a.m. so arrive early to get your spot. Race begins at 7:00 a.m. Join us for awards and after party at the completion of the race. Event is limited to 200 participants so sign up now to guarantee your spot.
Beneficiary
This event is held in memory of our friend, Laura Genelin, who passed away in July of 2008 from colon cancer. Laura loved participating in triathlons. To keep her passion alive, we chose to hold one annually in her hometown of Eagle, Colorado. Proceeds from the race benefit the Vail Valley Charitable Fund, helping locals like Laura in medical crisis since 1996. (www.vvcf.org)

Entry Fee: $65 per individual until midnight June 20th; $75 thereafter. $100 per 2-person team until midnight June 20th; $110 thereafter. $150 per 3-person team until midnight June 20th; $160 thereafter. Must be 14 years of age or older to participate. NO iPODS OR HEADPHONES ALLOWED.
Course Description
The LG Sprint Tri is a 500-meter swim (10 laps) in the Eagle Pool followed by a 12-mile bike loop from the pool, down the scenic Brush Creek Road, to Adams Rib and back to the pool. The third leg features a 5K run from the pool down the bike path to Eagle Ranch Road, connecting to the Eagle Ranch bike path and back to the pool for the finish. This is a great course for first-timers and pros alike.
The event is held at the Eagle Pool and Ice Rink in Eagle, CO 20 miles west of Vail.
