2009 Janet Clarkson Memorial Triathlon:

Sprint Triathlon

Swim.Bike,Run.

Chip timing

Course Info:

Swim course is 1000 meters. Swimmers will launch in a wave from the boat ramp, swim out to the large white balloon that is 500 Meters off shore then back.

Picket boats will line the course and life guards are on hand.

The Bike portion is 13.1 miles over abandoned logging roads. A Mountain bike is recommended.

There will be food and water stations along the route.

The transition to the run portion is in front of the general store at the Resort.

The run portion is 4.2 Miles. Again on old logging roads.

Directions:

From West yellowstone, north on us Hwy 191/287 to 3 mile marker, left turn onto Madison Arm Road.

5.5 miles NW to Madison Arm Resort.
