2012 Fronhofer Tool Triathlon Weekend:

  • The race venue is set in beautiful Washington County.
  • This years event will entail 4 different races.
  • On Friday, August 3th there will be a kids race - (ages 5-16).
  • On Saturday, August 4th we will host the Olympic Triathlon at 8 AM
  • In the early afternoon the Sprint Triathlon will start at 2:00 PM.
  • The fourth race is our Double Tri, for those participants who compete in both races.

    • Course Information:


    YOUTH DISTANCES:
  • Ages 7-10: 50 yard swim, 2.4 mile Bike, 12 mile Run
  • Ages 11-17: 100 yard swim, 5 mile Bike, 1 mile Run

  • The SWIM is an oval loop with several volunteers and life guards the entire way. Athletes will be able to stand at any point of the race for safety.
  • The BIKE is an out and back on a closed road. Athletes will be required to slow themselves at each turn around for safety.
  • The RUN is on an out and back on a closed road. There will be cones marking where to go and when to turn around.
