Seacoasts Sports Club (SSC) announced it is hosting the 9th annual “Tour de Pooch & Pals” on Saturday, February 11, 2012 from 9am-12pm at its Downtown facility located at 95 Brewery Lane in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
SSC-Downtown is encouraging the public, whether you are a member or not, to participate in this event to help animals who are in danger, and also to get a great workout with friends. All proceeds will go to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA).
Last year, the Tour de Pooch raised a combined total of just under $30,000 for the organization. Most riders were individual, and raised an average of $375 per rider. Participants in the spin class can choose to register for one, two or three-hour interval, and can spin as an individual or as a team.
Registration is $30 per hour, and additional pledges are gratefully accepted. Those who raise over $200 in pledges receive a unique MSPCA drawstring backpack.
