2015 Shipyard Old Port Half Marathon & 5k:
• The start of the half marathon and the finish lines for both the half marathon and 5k races will be located at Portland’s busy Ocean Gateway Terminal.
• The start line for the 5k race will be located on Cutter St (atop Munjoy Hill), one mile from the Ocean Gateway Terminal.
The terminal facility consists of the following elements:
• The long pier that’s normally used by massive cruise ships and ferries will be the half marathon start location.
• The queuing lanes where cars normally line up to get on a ferry will be used as a parking lot.
• The finish line will be located in the area next to the Visitor’s Center building.
• The post-race beer garden will be located in a grassy area that juts out into the water known as Moontide Park.
• Race day registration will be held under a tent in Moontide Park.
