Longest running triathlon event of any race in CT.In memory of Pat Griskus, amputee athlete who paved the way for many physically challenged athletes to come afterwards.

Half mile open water swim in spring fed Lake Quassapaug.
Challenging 10.5 mile bike ride around the lake.
Out and back 5K run.

Middlebury is in western Connecticut, 5 miles south west of Waterbury Connecticut, 65 miles northeast of New York City

Great 'strength' course, the date makes it ideal for those triathletes preparing for longer races.
Also, a First Timers division with medals for all first time finishers.
