Referred to as Hawaii’s dirtiest footrace, the Swamp Romp returned to Kaneohe Bay on February 28, 2009.

The race begins at the Boondocker building, neighboring the Marine Corps Exchange Annex parking lot.
6-person teams negotiate approx. 5 miles of an obstacle-laden course that included mud, crawling, jumping, swinging, sounds of combat, and more mud.

Participants must wear utility/long trousers or sweat pants, and some sort of high-top shoe.
No spandex pants or tennis running shoes allowed.
