2012 Playtri Dirty Rock Off-Road Sprint Triathlon:

It's time to get down and dirty at Playtri's 3rd Annual Dirty Rock Off-Road Triathlon!

If you've been wanting to try off-road triathlon, this is the perfect beginner's event - or the perfect event for pros who want to go all out! Like all Playtri events, the Dirty Rock is well-organized and staffed with friendly and helpful volunteers to get you nutrition and point your way on the well-marked course. And, of course, free food and drinks for all participants post-race!

Course Information:

2012 Dirty Rock Off Road Triathlon Race Course:

150 yard indoor pool swim 7 mile mountain bike 2 mi run

Swim:

The swim will be in a 25 yard indoor pool.

Bike:

The first and last 12 mile of the bike course are on a concrete path.

The rest of the bike portion takes you through the mountain bike trails of Squabble Creek.

Run:

The run course will be an out and back behind the YMCA on grass next to a concrete path (runners may use concrete path if preferred).

There will be an aid station at the run start and near the turn around.

Each aid station is equipped with water and Gatorade.
