The race takes place on historic Jekyll Island, Georgia.
Jekyll Island is a great place for destination triathlon and is one of the fastest olympic courses in Georgia.

Sprint tri is very fast - great first timer event.
Time start on the swim followed by a one loop bike and out and back run that are both very flat.

- Jekyll Island is located just off the Georgia coast, midway between Savannah, Georgia, and Jacksonville, Florida.
- A six-mile causeway separates Jekyll from the mainland and the city of Brunswick.
