Sprint Triathlon This race will consist of a 300 yard swim, 10 mile bike (stationary bike) and a 3.1 mile run (on the track).
Progression Triathlon Each month we will offer a longer triathlon, increasing the distance of each leg of the race. The final Triathlon will consist of an 800 yd swim, 28 mile bike and a 7 mile run. Compete in a few or all of them to get ready for the spring/summer triathlon season. The Progression Triathlon will take place early in the morning with the first heat starting at 8:00am. There will be two heats consisting of 12 spots each heat.
October: 400yd swim, 16 mile bike, 4 mile run
November: 500yd swim, 18 mile bike, 4 mile run
December: 500yd swim, 20 mile bike, 5 mile run
January: 600yd swim, 22 mile bike, 5 mile run
February: 600yd swim, 24 mile bike, 6 mile run
March: 700yd swim, 26 mile bike, 6 mile run
April: 800yd swim, 28 mile bike, 7 mile run
May: 800yd swim, 28 mile bike, 7 mile run
There will also be a kids' race consisting of a 200 yard swim, 5 mile bike and a 1.5 mile run.
The kids' race will begin at 10am with 2 heats running 40 minutes apart.
The adult race will begin no later than 11:20am.
There will be 4 heats starting 40 mins. apart.
There are 12 spots per heat.
