Course Information:
Run:
The course for the Granite Bay Duathlon begins with an out and back four-mile trail run that includes a short single track trail up a hill, located about half way through the four miles.
The run finishes back at the transition area.
The Super Sprint Duathlon starts with a shorter version of the same trail, returning after two miles.
- - Bike:
The 13-mile bike course is a TWO-LOOP course located entirely within the park on roads closed to traffic.
The bike course is windy and has several sharp small hills and tight turns.
It is STRONGLY recommended that you ride the course ahead of time.
Caution is advised on several of the turns as they wind through the hills and oak trees that surround Folsom Lake.
After the second loop you will return back to the transition area.

The second run course for both events will be the same as the first run leg.
