2012 Playtri King Tut Triathlon:

  • Join us for the famously fun Playtri King Tut My First Tri and Sprint Races, with an Open wave for our local elite athletes!
  • Swim in the beautiful Stonebridge Ranch Lake (almost always wetsuit legal for this event!), ride the smooth, clean surrounding roads (with rolling hills), and enjoy our run entirely on paved running paths to finish up the race.
  • The entire course is manned by our friendly Playtri Racing volunteers, and the race benefits the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
  • Finish up with food, drinks, and awards - all My First Tri finishers get an awesome finisher's medal!

    • Course Information:

     
  • The swim is in a small, man-made lake. NO SWIMMING IN LAKE ALLOWED PRIOR TO RACE DAY!!
  • The bike is on nice concrete urban roads. The course is slightly hilly but fast. Each major intersection and turn around will be traffic controlled with directional assistance.
  • The run course is moderately hilly and challenging. Aid stations will be located approximately every 1 mile.
  • Each aid station is equipped with water and Gatorade.
  • The course officially closes at 11am for all participants.

  • The volunteers are always wonderful, the course is well-marked, and the post-race party is not to be missed - free food, fun, and awards.
  • Come join us for an early season open water event at a competitive venue!
  • A portion of our proceeds will be donated to Leukemia Society of America.
