The YMCA of Southwestern Indiana is very excited to announce the 1st Annual YMCA Kids Triathlon! This triathlon will take place at
Triathlons -once thought to be the domain of the super fit few have been growing in
popularity. People of all ages and abilities are participating in triathlons all over the country. Youth races have become quite popular in recent years as kids see their parents participating in these events.

Course Information:
We will be utilizing the brand new natatorium for the swim portion of the event. The biking will take place around the school in the parking lot (driving entrances will be closed) and the run will take place on the outdoor track.
Distances:
For the 6 year olds we will have a Splash and Dash (50 yard swim, 1/2 mile run)
7-8 year olds: 100 yard swim, 1 mile bike, 3/4 run
9-10 year olds: 100 yard swim, 2 mile bike, 3/4 run
11-12 200 yard swim, 4 mile bike, 1 mile run
13-14 400 yard swim, 5 mile bike, 2 mile run
