2011 XTERRA Lock 4 Blast:


  • You are sure to meet a challenge at the 2011 XTERRA Lock Four Blast Off-Road Triathlon.
  • Endurance enthusiasts from all over the southeast will be pushing the pace in an effort to gain points as part of the XTERRA America Tour.
  • The 11th Annual XTERRA Lock 4 Blast Off-Road Triathlon is an open event to anyone over 15 y.o, who think they can finish.

    • Course Information:


  • The event will prove to be an experience with a 880 yd Swim in the heart of Old Hickory Lake.
  • Followed by a 12.5 mile (two loop) mountain bike leg.
  • Finish with a 4.5 mile (also two loop) trail run throughout the wooded terrain of Lock 4 Park.

    • Directions:


  • In the heart of Gallatin, TN - on Main Street - across from Cracker Barrel & beside Wendy's is Lock 4 Road.
  • Go South on Lock 4 Road for 3 miles until you enter the Park or drive into Old Hickory Lake. - OR Follow the big brown signs to the Park.

    • Other Info:

    Weather: July is typically the hottest, most humid time of year in Middle Tennessee. It will be a climate that exceeds any competitor's expectation. No need to worry - we'll have lots of water and Gatorade.

    Trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each division and Top 3 male and femail overall. No duplicates.
