Take I-5to the Coronado Bridge.The bridge exits onto 3rd Avenue. Continue of 3rd Avenue and turn left on Alameda Blvd (Just before the North Island Naval base entrance). When Alameda ends, turn left onto Ocean Blvd. Registration is at the foot of the stairs along path to main lifeguard tower. Come early as parking can be a challenge.
Only preregistered swimmers are guaranteed custom event t-shirts,unique swim caps, and participation items.Great memories for everyone!
All swimmers under 18 years old must be USAS swimmers and/or USA Water polo members and must preregister by 6/30/2016. 12 year olds and under must have their coach's written approval for entry into the Youth half-mile or Youth mile events.

Swimmers may wear wetsuits in the mile swims but will not be eligible for awards. No fins,snorkels, paddles or other equipment allowed

Online entry closes at 11:59PM on July2, 2016. Swimmers can sign up at the early registration Saturday July 2 at the BBMAC ( Coronado High School pool) 1-4pm and at the beach the morning of the swim. T shirt for day of registration will not be guaranteed
Each year participants come from all over the world to challenge themselves in this annual event. With age groups from under 12 to over 70 years old demonstrating their commitment to ocean swimming everyone will enjoy entering or watching the challenge.Entry is still open to swimmers of all ages...Sign up today
