Welcome to the 8th Annual Omaha Triathlon!  We have Moved to a new venue at BLUEWATER in Valley, NE!   Home of the 2016 Street of Dreams!  BLUEWATER features a pristine clear and clean lake with a Sand Beach Start and finsih for the swim.   The Bike and Run course are flat and fast! 

Bring the family to Omaha and make it a Triathlon weekend. The weekend offers several Multi-Sport events:

July 15th (Saturday) - Omaha Kids Triathlon. The Kids race at the same venue as the adults.

The distances of the Triathlon will vary with ages.   

• Special Practice Swim at BlueWater from 2pm to 4pm during the mandatory bike drop.

 July 16th (Sunday) - Omaha Triathlon. Offering Olympic Distance, Sprint Distance, AquaBike and Team Relay.

Sprint Distance Triathlon:

750 Meter swim, 20K bike, and a 5K run.

 Olympic Distance Triathlon (Individual and Team):

1500 Meter swim, 40K bike, and a 10K run.

 AquaBike:

1500 Meters and bike is 40K.

Swim Course

All athletes will swim in BLUEWATER Lake. It will be an a beach start!

Bike Course

All athletes will ride the same out-and-back bike course with turn around points clearly marked. This is one of a few Triathlons that has a bike route on a CLOSED COURSE. Having a closed course will make riding the challenging course more enjoyable!

Run Course

All athletes will run the same out-and-back bike course with turn around points clearly marked.

Refund Policy

No refund or transfers are given for any reason. Considerable effort goes into producing such an event and funds are expended early in the process to create this race. Thank you for understanding this policy.

Who we are

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in Nebraska providing multi-sport events for Women, Adults and Kids. At Mimran Event Management we promote a healthy and active lifestyle for youth and adults one event at a time.

7:30 AM - Athlete check in

8:30 AM - 6,7,8, 9, 10 year old Start Time

9:30 AM - 11 - 14 year old Start time

OMAHA TRIATHLON at BLUEWATER

Saturday July 15th

Packet Pickup: Noon to 5pm

Location: Scheels Omaha

Pracitce Swim:  2pm to 4pm (Separate Registration required)

Mandatory Bike Check 1PM TO 6PM.

Sunday July 16th

4:45 AM - Transitiona Area Opens / Chip Pick up

6:00 AM - First Wave Start

7:30 AM - Sprint Distance Pack FInishers 

8:30 AM - Olympic Distance Pack Finishers

9:30  AM - Awards
